Sueko Yonamine Oshiro, 96, of Waikapu, Maui, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2018. She was born on August 15, 1921 in Lahaina, Maui.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Nakamura Mortuary from 9:00 am with service at 10:30 am. No flowers, please. Family requests casual, colorful attire.

Sueko was pre-deceased by her husband, Seimo Oshiro, and parents, Seiko and Maka Yonamine. She is survived by her children: Linda (Richard) Yadao, Jane Tesoro, Alma (Joseph) O’Heron, and Janis (Mark) Oshiro-Hironaga; grandchildren: Wayne Riki (Cheryl) Yoshida, Tehani Lei Bishop, Jonathan (Traci Masaki) Tesoro, Kristopher Tesoro, Kim (Jenny Lee) Kasahara, Kathleen Mariko O’Heron and James Michael Oshiro O’Heron; great-grandchildren: Rowen, Raelynn, Robynn and Reel Yoshida; Treyden and Dempsey Tesoro; Jaime and Shelby Kasahara; sister: Jessie Christensen.

The family is especially grateful for the compassionate care provided by Tim and Paz Spellicy along with Islands Hospice nurse Zen Lazaro.
